STARKVILLE, Miss. — Here are updates for Saturday’s college football game between Bowling Green and Mississippi State. This story will be updated following each quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
Mississippi State opened the second quarter by pinning Bowling Green on its own three-yard line. The Falcons picked up a first down and benefited on a defensive holding call that negated a potential Camden Orth interception. Junior tight end Andrew Bench hauled in an Orth pass with a delicate, bobbled 31-yard catch. On second-and-five later in the drive, Orth was lit up but found junior wide receiver Tyrone Broden for a 25-yard touchdown.
