MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Here are updates from Saturday’s college football game between Bowling Green and Central Michigan. This story will be updated after each quarter.
FIRST QUARTER
Central Michigan won the toss and deferred its choice to the second half. Senior Bowling Green quarterback Matt McDonald immediately moved the Falcons into Chippewas territory with a 46-yard strike to senior wide receiver Odieu Hiliare, and Bowling Green turned to freshman tight end Harold Fannin Jr. on fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line to score his third rushing touchdown of the season. Despite good field position on their opening drive, the Chippewas went three-and-out and punted.
