CLEVELAND – Twenty-four Mid-American Conference (MAC) student-athletes have been selected for the 2023 MAC Medal of Excellence Award, including Bowling Green's Gage Schenk and Zaresha Neal. Schenk is member of the baseball team and a native of Wapakoneta, Ohio. He maintains a 4.00 GPA while obtaining his Master of Accountancy degree. The senior currently leads the Falcons with 58 strikeouts this season. Entering this weekend's series against Toledo, he ranks fifth all-time in program history with 186 strikeouts. Neal is a member of the track and field team and a native of Findlay, Ohio.
