The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team took a one-point lead into the half, but a third-quarter surge by Kent State University proved to be too much for the Falcons to overcome on Wednesday night (Feb. 5). The Golden Flashes came away with a 61-47 win at the M.A.C. Center.
The Falcons' total of 47 points was a season low. BGSU led by a 28-27 score at halftime, but the hosts scored the first eight points of the second half and outscored the Falcons, 18-4, in the third quarter.
Lindsey Thall scored a game-high 19 points, including 14 in the second half, for the Golden Flashes, while teammate Asiah Dingle added 16 off the bench.
