BOWLING GREEN — Zaresha Neal remained focused and determined, even while rehabbing from a shoulder injury and a surgery in 2020.
But, that same focus and determination has been her M.O. since high school.
While on the shelf, the Findlay High School graduate wasn’t going to overthink the situation. She remained poised and allowed the healing process to run its course, before picking back up as a blue-chip shot put thrower for Bowling Green State University’s track and field team.
Two years later, she worked her way onto the national outdoor stage.
Neal competed and placed in the nation’s top 20 in the NCAA outdoor track and field championships June 9 at the University of Oregon.
