RICHMOND, Ky. – The Bowling Green State University baseball program closed out the weekend series against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday (March 5) with the team's first doubleheader of the season. EKU won both games on the day by finals of 12-3 and 3-0. Kyle Gurney paced the Falcons across the two games, going 5-for-8 at the plate while Anthony Toma logged his first home run of the season. BGSU will now turn their attention to conference play, taking on Miami (OH) next weekend in a four game series to begin the Mid-American Conference portion of the schedule.
