HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons (13-13-3, 10-10-1-2) dropped their series opener to the No. 14 Michigan Tech Huskies (18-8-2, 15-5-1-1) by a score of 4-0. The game served as the opener for the Winter Carnival, hosted by Michigan Tech at MacInnes Ice Arena. MTU started fast with three goals in the opening frame, including a power play score. The Huskies padded their lead with another power play goal in the third period to move to 8-0-1 in 2022.
