BOWLING GREEN — After a convincing 6-2 victory Thursday, the question facing the Bowling Green State University hockey team was whether it could keep the offense flowing.
The answer, at least for one game, was yes as the Falcons matched their offensive production from one night earlier to claim another 6-2 victory over Alaska-Anchorage in front of 2,945 fans at the BG Ice Arena on Friday.
No. 18 Bowling Green (15-7-5, 11-3-4 WCHA) scored three goals in the first period and never was challenged in completing its two-game sweep of Anchorage (9-12-3, 6-10-2)
“I think this is just the start,” said forward Brandon Hawkins, who scored twice.
