CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team came within an eyelash of setting a school record team score on the balance beam on Sunday (March 4) at the University of Illinois, led by a career-best performance from Jovannah East. That effort, as well as another 49 from the floor exercis lineup, helped BGSU score a 195.325 and once again improve their Regional Qualifying Score (RQS). The cumulative score was the third best of the season in ten meets and pushed the Falcons' RQS to 195.120. They will move up one spot in the national rankings to 40th, just 0.
