DETROIT — Spencer Parker had a career day in front of his hometown fans at Calihan Hall, but it was not enough to prevent the Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team from suffering a 95-80 loss to the University of Detroit on Saturday.
Parker, a graduate of West Bloomfield High School, scored a career-best 33 points and added 11 rebounds for the Falcons (7-3), who saw a six-game winning streak end. Rasheed Worrell added 16 points for BG.
Paris Bass scored 25 points in his first game this year to lead Detroit (5-3). Anton Wilson finished with 17 points, Jaleel Hogan had 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Michigan transfer Carlton Brundidge had 12 points for the Titans.
