BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The No. 13 Bowling Green State University hockey team overcame an early 3-0 deficit to defeat Alabama Huntsville by a score of 9-3 on Friday night (Dec. 6) at the Slater Family Ice Arena. After a rough first period for BGSU, giving up three goals in the first period, the Falcon offense exploded to score nine goals over the next two periods with all nine coming in a window of 23 minutes of game play. Seven different Falcons scored a goal while 12 picked up at least one point. Eric Dop needed just seven saves in the final two periods en route to the victory.
