BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University hockey team has been ranked No. 13 in this week's official USCHO poll. They are also ranked No. 13 in the D1 hockey PairWise rankings going into this weekend's WCHA Championship game. This following a sweep of rival Northern Michigan in the WCHA Semifinals over the weekend.
No. 3 seeded Bowling Green defeated No. 2 seeded NMU in game one on Friday (March 15) night by a final score of 6-1. The Falcons scored six times on 42 shots on goal. Bowling Green traded power play opportunities with the Wildcats through the first period before getting two past NMU netminder Atte Tolvanen in the second period.
