BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green has hired Boston College assistant coach Scot Loeffler as its full-time football coach.
The school announced its decision the in a release Wednesday morning. Bowling Green will introduce Loeffler at press conference on Thursday.

Loeffler is a native of Barberton, Ohio, whose wife, Amie is a Bowling Green alumnae.
Most recently, Loeffler served as the offensive coordinator at Boston College, but he also made stops at the offensive coordinator at Virginia Tech, Auburn, and Temple. Loeffler is a former quarterback at Michigan and also served as quarterbacks coach under Lloyd Carr at Michigan and Urban Meyer at Florida.
