Golf Stat Results LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team opened the spring season this week by hosting the Mid-American Challenge at Royal Lakes Golf Course in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. The Falcons improved their team score in each round and finished the tournament with a ninth-place finish.
BGSU finished ahead of Western Illinois and MAC-rival Ohio. Northern Illinois won the event by posting a team score of 860. Florida Gulf Coast (863) finished in second while Illinois State (876) and Akron (876) tied for third.
Kayla Davis led the Falcons with a strong showing, shooting an even-par 72 in each of the final two rounds.
