Final Statistics: HTML | PDFELON, N.C. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team opened up play at the Elon Tournament by defeating hosts Elon University, 6-2, Friday (March 4) night at Latham Park in come-from-behind fashion. The victory for Bowling Green snaps a five-game losing streak. The Orange and Brown registered five two-out RBI in the ballgame.
"This was a big team win for us," said head coach Danny Schmitz. "C.J. Schildt gave us a big-time outing, and our bats got us timely hits. Devin Daugherty and Tony Landi then recorded important outs from out of the bullpen.
