MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team's ninth inning push came up short against Central Michigan on Sunday (April 2) in the series finale. CMU tallied two runs in the bottom of the eighth to take the lead. The Falcons responded with one run in the top of the ninth, but couldn't register a second, falling 4-3. Despite the loss, Bowling Green still takes the series over the three-time defending MAC Champions after picking up wins on Friday and Saturday. The Falcons stand 11-14 on the season and 6-6 within the MAC.
