Post-Game Audio: Coach Huger With Todd Walker BOONE, N.C. – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team moved to 2-1 on the young season Monday (Nov. 30) evening with a 78-76 overtime victory against Appalachian State University. The non-conference contest was played at ASU's Holmes Center. The Falcons have now won two-straight games following a season-opening loss to nationally-ranked Michigan.
The Falcons trailed by two points at halftime, but built up a 67-55 lead with 6:31 left in regulation. Appalachian State closed the game on a 14-2 run to knot the score, but BGSU forced a pair of contested three-point attempts from ASU on the final possession of regulation.
