The Bowling Green State University women's basketball student-athletes have been recognized for their success in the classroom last year. The Falcons were named to the 2015-16 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, which was announced Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 2) by the WBCA office.
The Falcons are ranked 25th in the entire nation on the NCAA Division I list. BGSU is the only Mid-American Conference team on the list, and the Falcons are one of just two Division-I programs from the state of Ohio to earn the honor.
BGSU has been named to the WBCA's Academic Top 25 in each of the last three seasons and eight times in the last 10 years.
