SETTING THE SCENE
• Bowling Green is set to play its first road game of the 2019 season this Saturday, Sept. 7 at Kansas State. The ballgame is set for a 12 p.m. EST kick (11 a.m. local) at KSU's Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
• For the second-straight week, the ballgame will feature a pair of coaches in their debut seasons at their respective schools. Loeffler, a first-time head coach, is set to take on Chris Klieman, who spent the previous five seasons as the head man at North Dakota State.
• In the only matchup to date between the two schools, Kansas State defeated BGSU, 58-0, in 1997 in Manhattan.
