BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Freshman Brandon Kruse put together his first career three-point game and led the Falcons to a weekend sweep of Alaska Anchorage in a 3-2 win on Saturday night (Jan. 20) at the Slater Family Ice Arena. Bowling Green fell behind after seven minutes and continued to trail until the third period, when they stormed back for their second third period comeback win of the season. BGSU improves to 14-8-6 overall and 11-4-5-2 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association games. The Falcons now have 40 points and trail conference leader Minnesota State by five with four series remaining for each.
