FAIRBANKS, Alaska. – The Bowling Green State University hockey team fell in their first of a two game series at the University of Alaska Fairbanks on Friday (Jan. 18) by a final score of four to one. The Falcons out shot the Nanooks of Alaska 36 to 23 in the contest. UAF would hold a two goal lead going into the third period. BGSU would utilize an extra skater as would score one in front to cut the lead in half for the Falcons. Alaska would net a pair of empty net goals to record the final score.
