BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – A pair of Kent State University touchdowns late in the second quarter broke open a one-score game, and the Golden Flashes went on to a 40-6 win over the Bowling Green State University football team Wednesday night (Nov. 9). The Mid-American Conference matchup was held at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
Marquez Cooper ran for 93 yards, while Collin Schlee threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns for the Golden Flashes (4-6, 3-3 MAC).
The Falcons (5-5, 4-2 MAC) got on the board on Matt McDonald's third-quarter touchdown pass to Tyrone Broden, cutting the KSU lead to 23-7, but BGSU could not draw any closer.
