TOLEDO, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University hockey team fell to the Western Michigan Broncos at the Huntington Center in Toledo on Saturday night (Oct. 12) to conclude the Ice Breaker Tournament. The final score of the contest was 5-2. Western Michigan struck first in the first period followed by a goal by Bowling Green early in the second period to tie the game at 1-1. The Broncos would run off three unanswered goals, creating a deficit that ended up being too steep to overcome for BGSU. The loss moves BGSU's record to 1-2-0 on the season as they prepare to meet Western Michigan twice more next weekend for a home-and-home series.
