CLEVELAND, Ohio – A fast start by the University of Toledo was too much for the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team to overcome on Saturday (March 11), as the Rockets went on to a 73-58 win in the Mid-American Conference Tournament championship game at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Allison Day scored a game-high 18 points for the Falcons (27-6), the tournament's second seed, and Day tied for team honors with eight rebounds.
Jocelyn Tate and Elissa Brett had 13 and 10 points, respectively, with Brett pulling down eight boards to tie Day for team honors.
