The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team scored early and often on Thursday night (Oct. 24), rolling along to a 7-0 win over Northern Illinois University. The Mid-American Conference match was held at the NIU Soccer Complex.
With the win, the Falcons (10-5-2, 8-1-0 MAC) remain in first place in the conference standings. BGSU is three points ahead of second-place Ball State with two regular-season matches remaining.
Additionally, the Falcons have clinched a home game in the MAC Tournament's quarterfinal round. BG will face an opponent to be determined in quarterfinal-round action on Sunday, Nov. 3, at Cochrane Stadium.
