Full Results (.pdf) Toledo, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University outdoor track and field team's four-year win streak over rival Toledo came to an end in dramatic fashion as the Rockets won by the slimmest of margins, 100-99 Friday evening. Despite the defeat, Bowling Green earned five Mid-American Conference automatic qualifying marks and won 10-of-19 events overall.
The meet turned on pole vault, where the Falcons did not have an entrant. Toledo outscored the Falcons 8-0 in that event, giving the Rockets just enough of a cushion to get the victory. Bowling Green dominated the throws and the short sprints, but Toledo made up for the disparity with a strong showing in the distance events and the jumps.
