BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (11-9-3, 8-6-1-1) fell to the Bemidji State Beavers (13-10-0, 11-4-0) by a score of 5-3 on Friday, Jan. 14, in Slater Family Ice Arena. BSU jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period, including a shorthanded score with ten seconds left. The Falcons cut the deficit to one after two second period goals, including their own shorthanded score. The Beavers capitalized on a 5-on-3 opportunity in the third, then on the ensuing 5-on-4. A power play goal from the Falcons ended the scoring for the evening.
