BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (13-11-3, 10-8-1-2) battled the No. 1 Minnesota State Mavericks (26-5-0, 18-3-0-1) on Friday (Feb. 4) in Slater Family Ice Arena, with the Mavericks coming away with a 3-1 victory. The Mavericks scored an early first period goal, then added a power play goal in the second. A score brought the Falcons within one in the third period, but MSU clinched the game with an empty net goal.
