OXFORD, Ohio – Everything was clicking for the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 23). The Falcons scored early and often, and BGSU was never headed in an 87-52 win over Miami University in Mid-American Conference action at Millett Hall.
BGSU (11-3, 7-2 MAC) hit three-point field goals on each of the first three offensive possessions, taking a 9-0 lead with under two minutes gone. The Falcons led by scores of 22-4 after one quarter and 46-14 at halftime, and the Brown and Orange took a game-high 45-point lead early in the fourth quarter before the RedHawks (1-12, 0-9 MAC) chipped away at that lead against the Falcons' bench to produce the final 35-point margin.
