CLEVELAND — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team rebounded from a poor defensive effort to shut down Cleveland State 62-47 at the Wolstein Center on Wednesday.
The Falcons allowed CSU to make just 16 of 59 shots from the floor (27.1 percent), including just 3 of 20 3-pointers (15 percent), after allowing Wright State to make 13 3-pointers and shoot better than 48 percent from the arc.
Spencer Parker and Zack Denny each scored 13 points to lead Bowling Green (8-4), with Denny posting a double-double with 10 rebounds. Springfield High product Demajeo Wiggins came off the bench to add 10 points and seven boards.
