The Broncos won the first game, 12-7, before claiming the night cap by a score of 7-5. The Falcons drop to 7-11 in conference play following the action, while WMU improves to 12-6. Both league contests were played at Western Michigan's Robert J. Bobb Stadium.
Adam Furnas' three-run home run in the opener gave the Falcons the momentum early, but the Broncos would go on to score 10-straight runs to take control of the contest.
