BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – A school record and Central Michigan's undefeated conference slate both fell on Sunday (Feb. 25), as the Bowling Green State University gymnastics team finished second in a tri-meet against the Chippewas and Ohio State University. Senior Laura Mitchell secured the best balance beam score in BGSU history, while Jovannah East tallied a trio of 9.9s. Their efforts helped the Falcons to a 195.400, the team's second-best total of 2018. That was good enough to beat CMU's 195.375 and hand the Chippewas' their first Mid-American Conference loss of the season.
