Akron, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University track and field team continued to make strides Saturday at the Akron Invitational, returning to campus with numerous personal and season-bests. The Falcons are in the midst of a critical push for seeding and qualification to the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Redshirt senior Taylor Rambo ran a season-best time in the 400 at 55.84 seconds, the fifth-fastest in the MAC this year. That allowed her to place first in the gold division (elite) of the meet. She added a season-best 25.55 seconds in the 200 as well, while teammate Cortisha Short ran a strong 24.
