Freshman Kennedy White's first-half goal proved to be all the offense that the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team would need on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 27), as the Falcons posted a 1-0 win over Western Michigan University. The Mid-American Conference match was held at the WMU Soccer Complex.
With the victory, the Falcons (11-5-2, 9-1-0 MAC) have clinched a tie for the MAC regular-season title. With one game left in the regular season, BGSU is three points ahead of second-place Ball State.
White's goal in the 36th minute was her team-leading eighth of the season.
