PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Bowling Green State University volleyball program captured the team's first three-set victory of the season, topping American 3-0 on Saturday (Sept. 10). The win closes out the weekend for the Falcons at the Panther Challenge in Pittsburgh, bringing the team's record to 4-5 on the season. The Falcons will now shift attention to playing Mississippi State and Michigan next weekend.
Against the Eagles, the Falcons were paced by a balanced attack led by Kat Mandly with 13 kills. Mia Tyler and Lauryn Hovey both added nine kills to the effort.
