The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team made a fourth-quarter run to get within two points, but Green Bay answered that run to extend the lead, and the Phoenix went on to a 73-54 win on Thursday (Nov. 28). The game, the opening contest in the Greater Victoria Invitational, was held at the CARSA Performance Gym on the University of Victoria campus.
Fourth-year Falcon Caterrion Thompson had 14 points to lead the Falcons, while junior Madisen Parker had 12. Both players hit four three-point field goals as BG (3-2) made 12 long-range shots on the day.
