For the first time in 17 years, the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team is headed to the championship game of the Mid-American Conference Tournament. The Falcons held off a second-half comeback bid by Northern Illinois to earn a 71-67 win over the Huskies in Saturday night's (March 15) semifinal round at Quicken Loans Arena.
Bowling Green, the tournament's third seed, will face top-seeded Buffalo in Saturday's championship game. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at The Q, and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
