SAINT THOMAS, Virgin Islands — Bowling Green’s Juice Turner dribbled out a rebound on a missed shot by Western Kentucky and hit the winning bucket with 3.8 sec-onds left for a 77-75 victory in at the UVI Sports and Fitness Center.
The junior guard was the game’s leading scorer with 27 points and six assists for the Falcons in the Paradise Jam tournament. Senior guard Dylan Frye added 19 points for the victors.
Bowling Green raises its record to 4-1 and will play Cincinnati, a 66-65 winner over Illinois State, on Sunday as the tournament continues into the weekend.
