BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – A stunning four-goal second period lifted the Bowling Green hockey program (17-8-6, 14-4-5 WCHA) over WCHA foe Michigan Tech (13-12-5, 9-9-5 WCHA) for a 7-2 victory. Seven different Falcons scored in the win, with 14 tallying at least one point.
After a fairly uneventful first period in which neither team found the back of the net, the remaining 40 minutes of play were dominated by the Falcons. After pounding in three goals in just over four minutes, the Huskies were forced to make a change in net. That didn't stop the Falcons as they found the back of the net again just 24 seconds after the switch.
