The Bowling Green State University tennis program saw two of its student athletes advance to the Round of 16 in qualifying singles of the ITA Midwest Regional Championships. Marharita-Sophia Tavpash and Marta Bettinelli defeated their opponents in the first and second round of qualifiers to claim their spots in the final 16, that was narrowed down from 64 collegiate tennis players. Tavpash and Bettinelli both have the opportunity to lock their spots in the Singles Main Draws that will feature the remaining eight competitors.
50 teams make up the Doubles Main Draws that were released Thursday evening.
