After struggling to find the back of the net consistently, the Bowling Green men’s hockey team had an offensive explosion against the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks over the weekend.
The Falcons took Game 1 of the duo from the Nanooks 8-0 and tied the second game 3-3.
“I think execution, generally speaking, has been our issue,” coach Chris Bergeron said. “We were not only competing and skating, but we were executing and that's the level that we have to execute at. … We know we are capable of it, and the challenge is to do it more of the time.
