BOWLING GREEN — Nobody outside of the Stroh Center’s walls thought Bowling Green’s women’s basketball team was going to be good entering last season season.
The narrative could not be any more opposite entering the 2021-22 campaign.
BGSU earned the Mid-American Conference regular-season championship last year after being picked to finish 11th by the league’s coaches. The Falcons went 21-8 overall and 14-4 in MAC play, which included two separate winning streaks of four, two winning streaks of five, and not once having a losing streak of more than two games.
BGSU went 1-2 in the Women’s NIT after losing to Central Michigan in the MAC tournament championship game.
