BOWLING GREEN — About halfway through his first baseball season at Bowling Green, Evan Brown had a problem.
The multi-sport star at Anthony Wayne High School chose baseball as his college avenue and found a home at BGSU. It was a great situation: Brown was a promising player who clicked with the school and loved his teammates and coaches.
But no matter how he tried, football stayed on his mind.
“I was just missing football a little too much,” Brown said. “I caught myself watching some tape here and there, and I was calling my dad, who used to be a high school coach, and talking about defensive schemes.
