Eric Lewis Named Cornerbacks Coach

Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University head coach Scot Loeffler has named Eric Lewis as an assistant coach, overseeing the cornerbacks. Lewis replaces LaMarcus Hicks, who coached the secondary for the past two years.

Lewis joins Bowling Green following a stint coaching the defensive backs at Boston College. He has 17 years of collegiate and NFL experience.

As the defensive backs coach at Colorado State in 2018, Lewis helped the team improve 28 spots nationally in pass defense. He was a quality control assistant at Tennessee in 2017 after spending the 2015-16 seasons at Georgia State.
