BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team did an excellent job of feeding the hot hand on Tuesday night.
It’s been a common theme early in the 2024-25 season for a team that has put up efficient offensive numbers.
BGSU shot 55.8 percent from the floor, 40.9 percent from 3-point range, and 90 percent from the free-throw line in its 76-68 victory over Niagara at the Stroh Center. The Falcons (2-3) had assists on 18 of their 29 field goals while committing just 10 turnovers.
More often than not, and especially in the second half, BGSU made the extra pass on offense to get its best available shot.
