Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are football player Jarret Doege and women's soccer player Chelsee Washington.
Male Athlete of the Week
Jarret Doege, a sophomore from Lubbock, Texas, went 30-of-45 passing for 237 yards and two touchdowns Saturday against Miami. For Doege, it marked a career-high in completions and was the eighth straight game in which he was responsible for multiple TDs (either passing or rushing).
