BOWLING GREEN — A second consecutive 7-6 season for Bowling Green State University’s football team wasn’t necessarily a disappointment for head coach Scot Loeffler.
But the sixth-year mentor and his squad have quite a few moments they would like to have back.
With almost every top player returning from the 2023 campaign, and with sky-high expectations entering this season for a program that has come a long way since what Loeffler called the “dark era,” BGSU had a nearly identical year while coming up short of two of its main goals.
