BOWLING GREEN — After 18 straight road games to start the 2021 season, the Bowling Green State University baseball team is starting to find its footing.
The Falcons are off to a 6-2 start in the Mid-American Conference, which is the program's best start in league play since 2008.
With series wins over Ohio and Akron, BG has opened MAC play with consecutive series victories for the first time in 20 years.
“We're playing winning baseball right now,” first-year coach Kyle Hallock said. “It's a fun dugout to be in. When you have a common goal and you're playing for something bigger than yourself individually, that's something we've stressed since fall ball.
