BOWLING GREEN — Alex DelPiombo had opportunities to further her volleyball coaching career elsewhere while spending most of the past decade as an assistant for Bowling Green State University.
She stayed in northwest Ohio for a simple, yet meaningful, reason, and it has helped DelPiombo in her path to becoming a head coach for the first time.
“I’m happy. I really am,” DelPiombo said of her time with the Falcons. “... I’m not going to chase something just for a title or a clout. I think we can win here, we can continue to be great here, and I can continue to love what I do and love our players in this world.
