BOWLING GREEN. Ohio u2013 Bowling Green's Daisy Platts was named MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week. This is Platts' second weekly accolade this spring season, previously being awarded MAC Swimmer of the Week for events competed in from January 24th through the 30th. Platts, a senior from Leicester, U.K. is an Exercise Science Major with a GPA of 3.864. Platts was named to the All-MAC First team for the fourth straight year after another spectacular performance at MAC Championships this year. On Wednesday, she swam one leg of the 200 Medley Relay team that broke the school record, and posted the fastest backstroke split of any other swimmer in the event.
